Mapping - course (online)

Coronary heart diseases (online)

We aim to share with you our experience regarding the workflow of the acquisition and interpretation on 20 clinical cases during this one-day course. Additionally, we want to make you aware of problems caused either by the technique itself or by the pathophysiology of the disease. You will be able to interpret the image data by yourself. This includes the analysis and the reporting. Afterwards we will have a shared look on the image data and we will present the results of invasive coronary angiography.

  • One day course with practical experience on 20 clinical cases
  • Discussed cases can be used to complete the logbook
  • Achievements will be certificated

Inflammatory heart disease (online)

Heart valve disease

Heart valve disease is the domain of echocardiography, but cardiovascular MRI can provide crucial additional information.

In cardiovascular MRI non-invasive hemodynamics can be displayed three-dimensional and over time by 4D flow. This technique is becoming increasingly important in clinical routine in congenital and acquired heart defects. Besides visualization of hemodynamics, quantitative parameters can be evaluated. At the end of this course you will have mastered the basic principles of 4D flow measurement and analysis.

Special course: Innovative Techniques in CMR

Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance offers the chance to get new insights regarding myocardial tissue differentiation and noninvasive hemodynamics. New innovative quantitative techniques are entering the field.

This course will offer an introduction towards 4D-flow, parametric mapping and assessment of myocardial deformation using strain imaging based on cine images. Experienced clinicians and scientist will introduce basic technical aspects and explain the current role in CMR. Furthermore, case based discussion will take place.

We are looking forward to share our current knowledge with you.

The course takes place online (Microsoft Teams) on two evenings.
