Our courses are conducted by radiologists and cardiologists with long-standing experience in carrying our Cardio MRI examinations.
Due to its long-standing excellent co-operation with the Charité Cardio MRI Group, Circle has been significantly involved in designing the course concept. Circle Medical Education’s aim is to supply expert knowledge for Cardio MRI training, ensuring effective application and spreading this relatively new diagnostic method.
The University Training Courses concept (in short: UTC) was developed out of the cooperation of several University departments. The medical and scientific contents of UTC Cardio MRI have been mainly developed by the MRI Working Group at Franz-Volhard-Klinik, which is one of the most-experienced clinical users of Cardio MRI worldwide, the Cardiology Department of Charité, Campus Virchow and the Radiology Department of Charité, Campus Mitte as well as experts of the Radiotherapeutics Department of Charité, Campus Virchow.
More than 1,500 clinical cardiovascular MRI scans per year are being carried out at Charité, Campus Buch, thereby fulfilling the requirements set by the Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (SCMR) for the UTC. Our partners in radiology have long-standing experience, especially in MRI diagnostics of congenital malfunctions and large vessel diseases.
Experienced MRI physicists are part of the teaching staff, providing the necessary physics background as well as useful tips and tricks for daily work with the scanner. We employ experts of MEDIS company (Leiden, Netherlands) for our courses on left ventricular function analysis.
