If you do not receive a rejection notice within 14 days, your registration is accepted. Additionally, you will receive a written confirmation of your registration.
2. Registration fee
Together with the confirmation of your registration you will receive the invoice for the registration fee. Payment is due immediately upon receipt. Payment should be effected either by bank transfer to the account stated on the invoice or by credit card. (In case you prefer payment by credit card, please notify us at the time of registration. Name your bank, credit card number and validity date.)
3. Cancellation by the applicant
The declaration of cancellation requires a written notice. Applicability of cancellation fees is determined by the date of receipt of the cancellation.
The following cancellation fees apply:
MRI Courses:
During the last week prior to course commencement: 80% of the registration fee
Up to 1 week prior to course commencement: 50% of the registration fee
Up to 4 weeks prior to course commencement: 25% of the registration fee
Up to 2 months prior to course commencement: no registration fees apply
Should you provide a substitute participant who will pay the registration fee as previously agreed upon, no cancellation fee will be charged. The applicant is permitted to prove that a minor loss occurred.
Correspondence course:
10% of the registration fee is regarded as a processing fee and will not be reimbursed in case of cancellation. € 24 will be reimbursed per course unit for units not yet delivered to or downloaded by the participant. € 180 will be reimbursed per seminar not attended.
However, if the participant has already registered for a particular seminar on a given date, cancellation fees will apply as follows:
During the last week prior to seminar commencement: € 140
Up to 1 week prior to seminar commencement: € 90
Up to 2 weeks prior to seminar commencement: € 40
Up to 2 months prior to seminar commencement: no registration fees apply
Fellowships:
During the last months prior to fellowship commencement: 80% of the registration fee
Up to 1 month prior to fellowship commencement: 50% of the registration fee
Up to 2 months prior to fellowship commencement: 20% of the registration fee
Up to 3 months prior to fellowship commencement: no registration fees apply
4. Cancellation of courses by Circle Institute GmbH
We would kindly ask you to understand that we reserve the right to cancel courses, e.g. in case of cancellation by an instructor or low applications numbers. We will make every effort to to notify you as soon as possible about cancellations or changes in program, particularly changes in teaching personnel. Should a course be cancelled, registration fees paid will be returned immediately. Further liabilities are excluded, unless there was proven grossly negligent or willful behavior on our part.
5. Right of usage of course documents
Accompanying the talks and hands-on courses, you will receive teaching documents in written and electronic format. Those are copyrighted documents. They must not be copied or duplicated, published or otherwise distributed as whole or in part without the written permission of Circle Institute GmbH.
6. Protection of privacy
Data sent to us is stored and processed electronically for administration purposes. Any other use or distribution of data is excluded.
7. General conditions
Changes and further agreements concerning this contract require a written notice, even if there is an agreement that a written notice is not necessary.
Place of execution is Berlin. In case the participant carries the German academic title of Vollkaufmann, the court of jurisdication will also be Berlin.
